formed about 250 million years ago in the Himalayan
Mountain Regions. All of our lamps are

NOT MANUFACTURED! Then each
lamp is hand formed
from the salt crystal rock. The salt crystal comes in a
variety of colors and shades including white, pink,
peach, orange, and red. Each is unique. They all
provide a beautiful glow and create a relaxing
atmosphere while emitting negative ions that cleanse and

About Salt Lamps
Himalayan Salt Lamps
are natural ion generators emitting negative ions into
the atmosphere. Negative ions are good for us; they
restore air quality. Our homes and offices are filled
with electrical appliances and electronics (televisions,
computers, florescent lighting, microwaves, heaters,
air-conditioners, etc.), all these devises emit positive
ions. Positive ions lower our energy levels, making us
feel tired, cranky, and depressed. Keeping a salt lamp
in areas where positive ions are polluting your air will
help neutralize the air you breathe. The emission of
negative ions is beneficial to anyone suffering from
any respiratory malady

How the Salt Lamp Works
The heat from a lighted salt lamp attracts moisture.
The evaporation of water through salt emits negative
ions. How many negative ions a salt lamp or candle
holder can release depends on its' size and how warm the
candle or light bulb makes it. A night-light size salt
lamp would be effective for an office cubicle.
Naturally, larger areas require larger lamps in order to
emit more negative ions.
